Gala Time

November throughout New Zealand is traditionally gala month. Many of the schools in the Nelson district, needing some cash to provide extras for the children, call upon parents to come and be fleeced by experts. And, strangely enough, the parents enjoy the experience. We attended the Auckland Point and Central schools' galas to get the pix on this page.
