High Standard Of Sand Modelling

Budding sculptors were given their chance on Tahuna Beach during the holidays when a sand Modelling contest, part of a national contest, was held. The two best in New Zealand, judged from photographs, will be sent to Paris in the August school holidays to take part in an international competition. A big crowd watched the 116 children between the ages of 6 and 15 work on their creations.
