Swimming Carnival Drew Big Entries
The Nelson Swimming Club's holiday carnival received tremendous support from visiting swimmers. As well as a strong contingent from Marlborough, there was a 20 member team from Wellington and swimmers from Otago, Canterbury, Motueka and Takaka. A feature of the evening was the closely-contested races, a tribute to the efficiency of the handicappers.
