Prize-Giving Ceremonies

December is Christmas month, and also end-of-year month for the schools. Prize-giving ceremonies were held in the three Nelson colleges and Wairmea College. At the Nelson boys' and girls' colleges, the end of the year address was given by the Governor-General (Lord Cobham), and pupils and parents at Wai-mea College listened to the eminent Wellington surgeon, Dr P. P. Lynch, who is also Pro-chancellor of Victoria University.
