Water Skiing Carnival
Another popular carnival attraction was the Monaco Boat Club's championships at Monaco. Againf big crowds and perfect weather contributed towards an excellent day's sport. Competing were many skiers from outside Nelson, many from the Canterbury Water Sports Club.

Nothing like a bit of clowning. It looks as if the shooting season opened early this year.
Winton Prisk shows perfect balance to win jump title with 57ft. Later with the jump at 6ft be set a new Monaco record of 60ft.
