The growth of Stoke in recent years has brought a few attendant problems for the various churches that serve this booming suburb. Last month, the new Baptist Church, on the Main Road, was opened. The church is sited towards the rear of an old house which had served members temporarily. Below is the new Catholic Church hall in Songer Street. The hall will fill a dual role of church and hall and is expected to be opened in September.
