A Nelson team which flew to Wellington for the annual Wellington centre cross country championships, did very well to secure several high placings in events which had big fields. Above, the start of the women's event won by Margaret Knight (Masterton) right foreground. At left are Janet Silcock, Marilyn Thomas and Janet Jonson, of Nelson, who finished 8th, 6th and 7th respectively, and who won the unofficial team's race. At right, S.
