Country Women See the Latest in Fashions

In conjunction with the W.D.F.F. and C.W.I. one-day school on wool held in Nelson late last month, Wright Stephenson and Co sponsored a mannequin parade of winter fashions. The packed hall just loved the latest stylings and we could not help but think that some of the hubbies' wool cheques might find their way (via the mills and manufacturers) on to their wives' backs - thereby completing the circle. Mannequins for the parade were Jillian Barham, Shirley Mc-Ewan, Betty Marr and Paddy Cato. Mrs Phil Harley was compere.
