A. T. C. Week

The Air Training Corps in Nelson had a big programme last month. The Nelson unit was inspected officially for the Efficiency Trophy, an award it already holds, A. T. C. cadets at Nelson and Waimea Colleges were taken for flights in an Auster and were allowed to control the aircraft in flight and an officer of the Nelson College unit, Squadron Leader R. H. Swain, was presented with his 15-years Cadet Forces Medal at a full-scale parade at the college.
