Intermediate School Sports

The friendly rivalry existing between the Nelson and Waimea Intermediate Schools took on a slightly more serious aspect recently when pupils took the playing fields as representatives of their schools. On the first occasion Nelson Intermediate was the venue, but two weeks later Nelson pupils repaid the visit with a trip to Richmond. Some stirring encounters resulted and a lot of fun had by all.
