Central Pupils Go Japanese
As part of their social studies lessons, several classes at Central School made a study of the Japanese and their country. The survey culminated with a Japanese Day, with pupils dressed in Japanese costumes. Highlight of this day was a meal eaten with chopsticks. Judging by some of the children's faces, their first impressions were that Japanese food tasted a bit unusual, while others tucked in and ate heartily.
