Water Ski Spectacular

The annual water ski display organised by the Moutere Hills Jaycee in conjunction with the Christchurch Water Ski Club and the Monaco Boat Club was again successful. The event was held at Monaco and attracted a large crowd which was not disappointed as the skilful skiers performed.

The "photographer" for Moutere Hills Channel X, a non-existent television company, took a soaking when kocked off his precarious perch by playful clowns (he did not drown!).

The topside tandem was demonstrated by Paul and Coral Heyward of Riwaka

Intricate manoeuvring by these three men amazed the crowd. Not once did they collide during their performance but at times they came close.
