Bump 'N' Bashem Racing

There's no doubt now that stock car racing in Nelson has come to stay. The rough and tumble racing of these very skilful drivers and their tank-like vehicles is extremely exciting and tremendous fun (if a bit dusty). They tell us there are rules to be observed (some of them are policed very stringently), but it seemed to us, as the casual observer, that anything went and the devil take the hindmost. These pix were taken on Boxing Day.
