Moutere Schools' Sports

Schools in the Moutere hills district were all represented at the annual district combined schools' sports at Upper Moutere. This was something of a gala occasion, being the 50th meeting run by the schools' sports association. Some very keen competition mixed with a tremendous amount of fun.

Looks like a family affair. Henry Te Tua (Harakeke) had time to flash us a smile as he took 2nd place in the 8-years final.
