Looking after the dental care of the children attending Auckland Point School is the work of Mrs Lorna Miller, dental nurse at the school. Mrs Miller graduated in 1955 and she has been the nurse at Auckland Point for three years. She has one son. Gardening and doing cane work are the leisure time pursuits of Mrs Miller.

Meet two of the staff of the Nelson Freezing Company's shop in Milton Street, Tony Hart and Graeme Rapson. Tony, who is single, has been a butcher six years and has been in Nelson only six weeks. He comes from Hamilton. Tony's a keen sportsman. He plays squash and rugby and water skis and swims. Graeme has been managing the shop for the last three months. He's married, has a son, and has been 6$ years in the trade. Graeme likes driving, fishing and working on the car.

You have to be happy in your work, and Suzanne Austin, a hairdresser with the Adele Salon in the Hardy Mall, is certainly happy in hers. Suzanne, who is 18 this month, has been hairdres-sing for 2½ years. She came to Nelson with her family from Westport about eight years ago. She likes rug-making, ballroom dancing and dressmaking.

Meet a mileage multi-millionaire. That's Laurie Styles, a taxi driver, of Nelson. Laurie has been driving a cab for 36 years in Nelson and is believed to be the longest-serving cab driver in New Zealand. He's driven more than two million miles (several times around the world). He's married, has four children, and is a member of the New Zealand Road Safety Committee.

Susan Woodill, a 15-year-old, left the wide open spaces of Tapawera to become a shop assistant at the Self Help a few weeks ago. She's keen on sewing, marching and pets.
