At Play In The New Y.M.C.A.

Although opened for little over two months, the new Y.M.C.A. Stadium in Childers Road is now an accepted and vital part of a wide variety of indoor sporting activities in the city. The stadium, which would rate among the best in the country, offers almost 6000 sq. ft. of usable floor area, seating accommodation for 500, and excellent changing rooms equipped with showers.

On these pages are pictured some of the stadium's many sporting activities.

Indoor basketballers use the stadium two nights of the week. At play here are Bill Fitzgerald (Turbos), Jim Cantlon (Erewhon), and Ray Moleta (Turbos).
