King Neptune At Pouawa

The highlight of the Ex-Navalmen's annual picnic at Pouawa Beach recently was the arrival of the legendary old man of the sea, King Neptune.

Suitably attired in seaweed, Neptune sailed majestically up the river in the six paddle-power Mickey Mouse, to be greeted by the highly-amused picnic-ers. Upon landing, he and his boat-paddling co-horts produced sacks full of presents which they distributed to the children.
