Mrs Earl Rubright (formerly Pamela Prosser, Gisborne), now of Jacksonville, North Carolina, U.S.A., pictured with her sons Brian, aged 14, and Calvin, 18. Mrs Rubright will be in New Zealand this summer and will spend several weeks in Gisborne as the guest of Mrs W. A. Phipps, 165 Roebuck Road.

William Neil Post, who dived for 15 minutes at Kaiti Beach last summer in efforts to save a man who was drowned, received the Royal Humane Society's award at a recent City Council meeting.
