Douglas G. Elliotts N.Z. Hit Parade, Variety Show

Gisborne's younger generation were treated to some grand entertainment recently, when the N. Z. Hit Parade Variety Show played in the Opera House. Stars of the show were New Zealand recording artists, Toni Williams and Bill and Boyd, who are rapidly becoming big names in the world of show business.

Bob Paris, who has recently returned from Australia, and the "Embers" supplied an excellent musical backing for the variety of entertainers, and Lou Clauson, Auckland's singing compere, emceed the show.
