Cat Show
A fine collection of cats, including some of the country's feline aristocrats, graced the Gisborne Cat Club's annual show held recently in the War Memorial Hall.

Look at those hypnotic eyes,.......this long-haired beauty is Kontiki Moby Dick, best white cat in the show, exhibited by Miss Holmes of Hastings.

The judge, Mrs Downey, Pukekohe, with Mrs Carian's Au Fait, best short-haired female in the show.
Mrs Carian, Foxton Beach, with her Prideagain, judged the best short-haired cat in show. It is a seal-point Siamese.

Panorama Princess Mali, best Chinchilla kitten in the show, exhibited by Mrs Slater, Tauranga.
Mrs McNab's Shah, best cat in Household Pet Section, best groomed cat, and best blue cat, was named "outstanding" by the judge.
Best Burmese was Mrs Livingstone's Ransom Ancaline.
