Here at "Photo News" we are not experts at tapestry work. We have quicker way of making pictures. But to our eyes, the works of art produced by Mr H. V. Ravenhill, 11 Shaw St., represent the ultimate in tapestries. We have reproduced on these pages a few of Mr Ravenhill's examples, so that even from them, readers will be able to see something of the remarkable needlework which he combines with natural artistry to create these works of art in wool.

The other ingredient required is time. It takes six to eight months to complete a picture. For Mr Ravenhill, it ia an absorbing hobby with which he fills the spare hours of his retirement.
