Record Shoot-off
In a gruelling shoot-off lasting more than an hour....a record for the Hawkes Bay provincial clay bird championships....the Gisborne crack shot, H. D. Boddington, won the £50 trophy match.
The championships were shot over two days at the Willows, Matawhero, in perfect weather.
