High School Steeplechase

This year the annual steeplechase of the Gisborne Boys' High School was held on a new course on the property of Mrs H. C. Nolan at Sponge Bay. The hillside near the homestead provided the boys with a natural grandstand from which they could watch the start and finish of each race, and in many other ways the course was regarded as ideal.
