Afternoon for Old Folks

The days pass with nothing much to do, and life gets a little tasteless for some old folks, but one of the bright spots of the year is the afternoon the Victoria League turns on in the Abercorn Hall for the city's elderly citizens. Bright entertainment, a good afternoon tea, and the opportunity of a get-together are an appealing combination, making the time fly all too quickly.
