World Record Claimed

The world record for a Pacific Blue Marlin has been claimed by Miss K. Beale, Te Puia Springs. During the World Big Game Fishing Contest last month, Miss Beale, a non-competitor, caught one from the launch Aquarius (Otehei Bay) weighing 432 lbs. It was the largest of three caught by Miss Beale in five days.
