Platinum Wedding
Mr and Mrs R. A. de Lautour, of Customhouse Street, who this month celebrated their platinum wedding anniversary (65 years). Both are 88 years of age. Mr de Lautour, who came to Gisborne 80 years ago, was one of a family of 17, most of whom have stayed in the district. Mrs de Lautour was a Miss Pittar, of the Great Barrier Island family.
Mr E. R. Black, Gisborne who has been elected president of the N.Z. Golf Union.
