Sea Rangers' Boats Launched

There was a red-letter day last month for the Gisborne troop of Sea Rangers. It was the occasion of the launching of their two new boats, the Endeavour and the Karere.

Mr Dixon, who blessed the boat named Endeavour, Archdeacon Morris, who blessed the boat named Karere, Mrs Gray, president of the Boating Committee, Mrs Nugent, Davisional Commissioner of Girl Guides, and the Mayor, Mr H. Crowd gathered on riverbank in brilliant sunshine to watch picturesque ceremony.
