Charm and Talent
Miss Mary O'Hara, the talented and charming Irish singer, provided much enjoyment for all who heard her at the Opera House, and also received a warm welcome when she attended a Gisborne Irish National Society social in St. Mary's Hall.
Seated between her father, who is travelling with her, and Father Sheehan, Miss O'Hara gives enthusiastic approval of Maori songs from Carolyn Witana.
The Society president, Mr P. Grealish, introduced Miss O'Hara to the audience.
And from Mrs Grealish she received a shoulder spray of cyclamen and jasmin.
