Wins for Gisborne Dancers

Three titles and a number of minor placings were gained by Gisborne ballroom dancing competitors in the North Island championships held recently at Palmerston North.

The junior championship was won by Mr T. Bai and Miss G. Thomson, who were also runners up in the open amateur event. The novice event was won by Mr T. Hugill and Miss P. Keane. Gisborne finished in second place to Wellington in the teams competition.
