Hill Climb

The highest number of entries for many years, 23, were received for the Gisborne Car Club's hill climb at Riverside Rd. recently.

A high degree of skill was required to negotiate the road up Holden's Hill, which was more liberally shingled than usual.

While this tended to slow times, it provided exciting driving, both for the drivers and the public watching.
