St. John Ambulance Members on Parade

A city owes much to voluntary workers who give their time and effort in the service of their fellow-men, and among those who deserve special thanks are the members of St. John Ambulance, who are ever on hand to attend cases in need. Last year, for instance, St. John members in New Zealand treated 100,000 casualties.

This figure was given to local members by the Chief Commissioner for N.Z., Mr J. M. Mitchell, when he held an inspection here last month.
