The Gisborne-E.C. Bowling Centre's single championships were decided last month. The winners and runners-up in the three grades are seen below.

In the seniors, H. Powell (Kahutia) beat C. C. Heslop (Wairoa), 16-14.

In the intermediate division, H. R. Lawrence (Tolaga Bay) beat R. Baker (Wairoa), 18-16.

In the colts, R. Poulgrain (Gisborne) beat M. Couper (Wairoa), 20-14.
