International Jumping

A big crowd attended the New Zealand Horse Society's international Jumping meeting at the showgrounds. Entries were good in all events, and the Grade A horses included Australian and South Island jumpers.

Most interest in the second day of the meeting was centred on the Table A competition for Grade A horses, over a long and testing course in the heat of the afternoon. The winner was Wien Again (W. Meech, Hawkes Bay). Second place went to the captain of the Australian team, F. Lawton, on Whisper.
