No sir, this station wagon wasn't bound for the moon via Gisborne, where this picture was taken. It just happened in this way:
The Yanks had an exhibition at the World Fair at Brussels. When the fiar closed, the exhibition was taken on tour. It was to open its N.Z. tour at Wanganui, but unfortunately a fire burned the exhibit, all except this vehicle.
So two of the staff bought the wagon and set off on a New Zealand Holiday.
