That venerable and much-loved old gentleman, Santa Claus, was hard at work in Gisborne during December, Picture shows the Kaiwaka in the bay for the Harbour Board's Christmas party for the children. Among those present: S. Claus.

Among other places, Mr Claus was noticed arriving at Midway to dispense largesse to the children.
