Shipwrecked!

Random shots taken at the Shipwreck Ball held in aid of the Rowing Queen (Miss Lois Prince) in the Macrae Baths Queen Carnival show some of those present in the colourful garb usually associated with functions of this kind.

Pyjamas, dressing-gowns, sacks, towels and a variety of other odds and ends were used by patrons to indicate what their state would be if the ship went down.
