This is Gisborne Too
During a recent trip to Australia, Miss E. Craw, of Atkinson St., paid a visit to Gisborne, Victoria. a town about 30 miles north-west of Melbourne, where she took these pictures.
Miss Craw reports that the town lies in low hills, surrounded by farming land.
It has a wide main street too, with a tree-shaded strip in the centre.
Fish being unloaded at Gisborne wharf. Last month the Harbour Board decided that wharfage would be charged in future on fish at 7/6 per ton, plus 10%.
