County Sports Meeting

The attractions of a country sports meeting were well exemplified at Matawhero on a Saturday last month when the Matawhero Sports attracted a large attendance of competitors and the public.

The day was overcast but fine. People came from far and near to Mr E. E. Langford's property, where the sports were held, including children from the Heni Materoa Home, to which half the proceeds were donated.
