Women's Division Celebrates Birthday
The 21st birthday of the Gisborne branch of the Women's Division of Federated Farmers was celebrated last month at a gathering at Pineview, when approximately 160 members and guests were present. Among these was the Dominion president, Mrs Schroeder, and nine foundation members of the branch.
The guests were welcomed by the president (Mrs R. N. Muir). Life memberships were conferred on three former presidents, Mrs T. A. Field, Mrs E. R. Black, and Mrs R. R. Sherratt.
