"Liz" Is Still Going Strong

Thirty–three years of solid service on N. Z. roads haven't dimmed the spark of "Liz" — the pride and joy of four Gisborne High School boys.

"Liz" is a Model T Ford of 1923 vintage. Len McCullough, Ernie Brown, John Chiplin, & Graham White recently pooled their savings and acquired her from Mr C. Scott.

They scraped her down, had her repainted, and now "Liz" is almost as good as new.

Vehicle–testing time had the boys a little worried, but the veteran behaved well, got her warrant of fitness after an adjustment to one headlight.
