The Junior Racquets Badminton Club winners for the season

Judith Terekia, daughter of Mr and Mrs Tom Terekia, 119 Chalmers Road, did exceptionally well in the N.Z. Karate open champs in Wellington. She took first place in the 8th Kyu and 7th Kyu for senior women.

These junior members of the Samoan congregation of the Wesley Methodist Church took part in the White Sunday Service on October 12. They dress in white especially for the occasion which re-affirms their faith.

Mrs Ada Clapperton, 53 Lyell Road, has 500 eggcups in her collection. (Hope she doesn't have to fill them all at once!) The cups are from all over the world and include antique silver, Manila wood, San Franciscoan Chinese, and stone.

The llminster School Gymnastics team performed with credit at the Bay of Plenty Open Gymnastics held in Rotorua. The boys were second in A grade and the girls were 3rd in A grade.
