Mannequin Parade

To help along the funds being raised in Gisborne's recent Popular Girl contest, mannequins displayed the latest fashions to an interested audience at Low's Rooms. They showed just what a well-dressed girl should wear to be popular.

The parade, organised by the committee of the High School Old Girls' Basketball Club candidate Miss Nancy Turbitt, was sponsored by Day 'n' Dance wear and Jaquetta Louise, modelled clothes for tiny tots as well as for their older sisters.
