Te Hapara Show

The Te Hapara Parish Flower Show attracted a very good number of entries this year and some outstanding blooms were shown. In fact the vase of antirrhinums was awarded a special prize for its outstanding quality.

Mrs D.B. Worsnop took the prize for the best piece of work in the show with this entry (called Norman Kird) in the open decorative section. Entries had to be titled after famous New Zealanders.
