Substantial Cheque

The proceeds of the P.B. Charity Dog Trial Club's annual dog trials amounted to $1700 and this was presented to the I.H.C. recently. Presenting the cheque to I.H.C. society president Nora Steed is club president "Toot" Lincoln.

No Good Now

This ticket was found by Mr Peter Lindsay of Ormond Road during the demolition of an old building in Derby Street. It is in mint condition and in a few weeks will be 45 years old. Just note the admission price of 3/- (30 cents). You don't get in anywhere for that price now!

Returned To Queensland

Michael and Cathy Bugden and son Robin have returned to Queensland, Australia, to live.after spending some time in Gisborne. It was Cathy's first visit to New Zealand and the couple came home to meet Michael's mother, Mrs A. Bugden, Peel Street.
