More Speed Than Comfort

Definitely more on the speedy than comfortable side were most of the carts-entered in the Youth For Christ Campus Life Cart Trial. Starting and ending in Williams & Kettle's car park, the trial drew a large number of entries — of various shapes and sizes. The prizes were sponsored by Foster & Tyler, Humphrey's Furnishings and Gisborne Motors. Splendid cooperation from the Traffic Department meant clear back roads for the trial which was almost over before it started —so to speak.
