... And Time for Other Goodies
Two playcentres held picnics recently for the young fry of their organisations and a most enjoyable time was had by both groups.
The Mangapapa Playcentre went to the Waihirere Domain where a pleasant day included games and a lunch-spread full of delicious goodies. The group is all ready to leave the centre with, in front, Phillipa Carter, Eric George and Roger Duke in charge of the cookies.
The Wainui Play-centre people went for a ride on the rail car to Muriwai. After a pleasant but overcast day the group returned home by bus. Here they are all set to board the railcar for the journey to Muriwai.
