The new Patutahi Hall has the steel framework and concrete sub-floor in place. The floor will have a wooden parquet finish. This is stage one of the hall building programme.

When funds permit, the other half of the hall will be built where the old hall now stands.

A new fire station is also being built. The concrete block walls and floor are already in place.

A new Anglican church is to be constructed right next to the present church. The site has been cleared for building to start.
