Collection of Clans

A large collection of numerous clans gathered at Anzac Park on February 23 for the first Gathering of the Clans to be held in Gisborne. The City of Gisborne Highland Pipe Band gave a stirring display of music and marching, while plenty of Highland and Scottish Country Dancing entertained the crowd.

Band leader Bryson Watt leads his men to the skirl of the pipes and the rhythm of the drums.

Up and coming drummer Ian Spooner has a slight problem with his busby.

Piper Paul Ramsey kept the music going for the Highland Dancing.
