College Swimmers

The St Mary's College swimming sports were notable for some close finishes and also for the encouragement given the competitors by those sitting on the side-line. A full day's programme was held in the McGIashen Pool.

In the senior 33⅓ yards breast-stroke Lee Shrubb gets home by a half-length from Katherine McIntyre. Anita Raku Raku (nearest camera) was third. The other swimmer on the far side of the pool is Elizabeth Gardner.
