Circuit Racing

Using considerably less fuel than the tough ocean races, and therefore less expensive, circuit power boat racing is gaining ground (?) throughout the country, The Gisborne Powerboat Club staged a circuit meeting over a ⅝th mile course on the "Big River" (Waipaoa) on February 16. About 18 boats were there for the races which were run on a handicap basis. Among those which sped over the water were.
